The Verona Fire Department is pleased to announce that the annual Santa Day will be held 12/17/2017, rain or shine. Santa will be taking a break to visit Verona to spread holiday cheer, substituting his sleigh for a fire truck!

The Verona Fire Department will visit every street in Verona, playing holiday music and handing out candy canes to all children! When you hear sirens and music, come out to say hi and receive holiday cheer! We will begin at 11:00 AM.

The Verona Fire Department is excited for this year’s Santa Day Run, as we have partnered with the Holy Spirit Church in Verona to collect donations for their food bank. In addition to handing out candy canes and dog treats, we will be accepting non-perishable food items, cleaning products and personal hygiene items. When we arrive on your street, please hand any firefighter your donation. At the end of the run, we will deliver all of the donations directly to the Holy Spirit Church. Please ensure all donations are unexpired and non-perishable.

There is no shame in asking for help. Life circumstances sometimes create times of need. No one should have to go hungry. The Food Pantry at the Holy Spirit Church is open from 9-11am on the 4th Saturday of every month. Anyone in need is welcome.
