Station #1 is adjacent to the Verona Community Center at 880 Bloomfield Avenue, which was dedicated in 1997. The Station has 3 bays and houses Engine Company #1. In addition, it contains training facilities, administrative offices of the Verona Fire Department, Fire Prevention Bureau and a backup dispatch center. Engine Company #1, originally located in the Verona Municipal Building, was moved here, its current home, in 1997.

Mission Statement

We will provide fire rescue and suppression for all residents, businesses and visitors. We will protect our members from injury: physically, morally and spiritually. We will undertake any means necessary to accomplish this mission with professionalism, diligence and competence.
